Essential Questions -- April 3rd

What new Flash skills did you learn?
Rate the quality of your Flash video for competition from 1-10.
Explain why you rated it that.  How can you improve it?

-----------------------------------------

I learned coding.

I think the quality could be rated as an 8.

I rated it that because of the drawings and tweens. I could improve it by making the movements more accurate.

Essential Questions Feb 16 -20

A shape tween is an option that makes a transition between two shapes, basically reforming one picture into another.  The motion tween helps the animation seem more realistic, like if you are making a scene with a ball bouncing across the screen and the motion tween makes the ball look as if the ball is moving up and down instead of it just going from slide to slide.  A keyframe is like a slide it helps you make a new part of your animation. Without keyframes your animation won't work.  All of these things are important in making an animation otherwise your work would be just a plain old picture.  I really like using flash and I think it's fun!

The way Lindsey learns!

I took an assessment to find my strengths in how I learn on http://literacyworks.org/mi/assessment/cgi-bin/results.cgi .

My top three intellegences are Musical, Nature, and Self.
On the site it states...
---Musical: You like the rhythm and sound of language. You like poems, songs, and jingles. You enjoy humming or singing along with music. You probably remember things well when they are associated with music or rhythm. Try to incorporate sounds into your lessons, such as using a familiar tune, song, or rap beat to teach spelling rules, or to remember words in a series for a test.
---Nature: You are sensitive to nature and environment. You probably know the names of rocks, flowers, birds, and trees. You love to be outdoors.
---Self: You have a very good sense of self. You like to spend time by yourself and think things over. You will often take in information from another person, mull it over by yourself, and come back to that person later to discuss it. You like working on projects on your own. You often prefer to learn by trial and error. Effective techniques to enhance your learning include keeping a journal and giving yourself time to reflect on new ideas and information.

Essential Questions February 2-6

Explain what you think is appropricate and inappropricate use of the internet. Explain to me what Photoshop skills you have learned this week. Tell me what you think of the wiki and blog.

I think appropriate interenet use is when you are talking to your friends that you know in person and not talking to anyone else that you don't. Another appropriate thing is if you take pictures for your myspace or facebook that they are not volgure or reveiling. An example of innappropraite use of the internet is talking to people you don't know, looking at "excotic" websites and taking volgure pictures and sharing them with people.

Some photoshop skills that I have learned are how to cut, feather, crop, clone, and use paint on pictures.

I really like the wiki, it is a lot easier than printing everything and turning it in or worrying about losing it and then at the end you don't have a lot of useless papers to carry around. I think the wiki is very convienient.

Digital Camera

My name is Lindsey Losh
I have a digital camera.
I enjoy taking pictures.
Most of the time I take pictures of myself and with my friends and I take pictures of whatever is around  during special occasions to have something to remember it by.
I take my camera everywhere because you never know when there will be something amazing at the place you go to that you may want to take a picture.
My favorite picture that I have taken is of my nephew Brody.  I took it not too long after he was born, he has a huge smile on his face and his hands up beside his head. I believe it was his first smile considering he had been born only a short amount of time before hand.
I do think photos are important to the web and print media because with photos it helps explain what things are and it lets you see them, and they also help to decorate the page and attract attention to the page.
